This red-dot sight has a tube design with optic elements with aiming dots at both ends. Usually scopes with such design are waterproof what allow using it at most hard weather conditions.
Critical components of this collimator sight are fully protected. Tube design scopes work same as open, except of one disadvantage – smaller field-of-vision angle. Sight case – one-piece casting block made from aviation-grade aluminum. All threaded connections have rubber O-rings providing waterproof capability. Scope installs on Weaver rail with quick-coupling mount. Usually this type of scopes has different aiming marks – it could be crosshair, dot or circle. User can choose from two colors of aiming mark – red or green.
Sight has on/off switch and aiming mark brightness knob. This model, unlike the older ones, have fully digital control, this eliminates wear off mechanical parts.
Sight has anti-reflection coating reducing glare from sun light. Reliable quick-coupling mount makes sight installation/removal easy. Red-dot construction is fully collapsible and condition of all O-rings can be checked. Aiming mark position adjustment knobs equipped with caps made from aviation-grade aluminum and fully screws in to sight case. Red-dot sight works from one cr2032 type lithium battery, battery life is quite long. For several models is recommended to use steel mounting rings with quick-release mechanism. It is recommended to mount red-dot collimator sight Pilad P1x25 on Weaver-Picatinny rail. Rail could be installed on dovetail bracket or be integrated in forend or receiver cover.
