Currently there are few companies manufacturing buttstocks for Saiga, AK, Vepr and Tigr. Usually original stock is not comfortable, hunters and sporting shooters want to change it to telescopic with recoil buffer, what is very handy for 12, 20 or 410 gauge shotguns. Another option for original stock upgrade is to use extender-buffer; it will significantly reduce felt recoil and add up to 5 cm to length of pull.
On Saiga and AK can be mounted buttstocks from Russian and foreign manufacturers. Partially carbines are equipped with telescopic stock directly by the manufacturer, but with these option carbines much more expensive than conventional ones.
Buttstock change is easy and exciting you just have to pick required adapter and mount telescopic stock on it. With such stock Saiga, as carbine, will look more expressive and get couple of additional advantages as recoil buffer and soft butt plate.
