Cheekpiece on the buttstock is used for more comfortable aiming. There are two types of cheekpiece: with adjustable height and solid, mounted on the comb. First, obviously, has significant advantage allowing to adjust height for any scope used. Buttstock cheekpiece is secured with two fly nuts, from the left and from the right, for adjustment cheekpiece moves along special rails. The internal side of cheekpiece is mate with the buttstock curve and because of this do not pop-up when operator needs to use iron sights.
