Additional rail is required for many shotguns - Weaver rail for the barrel is the best option. This product is very useful for shotguns where installation of fore end with integrated rails is too difficult.
Weaver rail for the barrel have four steel retaining bolts. With uniform and consequential tightening it will sit tight on the barrel. Rail is made from rigid aluminum.
Installation is easy: disassemble rail by losing 4 bolts, then it can be installed on the barrel, Loctite is highly recommended – it will prevent rail from movement during extensive shooting. Weaver rail for the barrel – multifunctional part, it can be used as side rail, top or bottom rail and mount anything you want on it (bipod, laser, tactical flashlight or even red-dot scope if you will turn it Weaver rail facing up).
Installation steps for shotgun or carbine not equipped with Weaver rail (we want to mount laser on SKS carbine)
- Lose 4 retaining screws and split rail on 2 parts
- Prepare carbine barrel for installation, prepare Loctite if you want this rail to be permanently installed
-Install rail on the barrel and tight retaining bolts consequential, to provide tight fit.
- Install laser pointer on Weaver rail.
