Vepr gas piston № 1.

Grade of finish 0.8 Ra (comparing with 3 Ra of stock one). 

Clear finish of side and end surfaces what facilitate piston cleaning.

Front cylinder added to increase operating area for propellant gases. Cylinder also collects powder debris.

Additional grooving across the piston. This grooving collects powder debris from gas tube walls and provide gas seal between piston and gas tube walls. It prevents gases from penetration through the gap, therefore increasing gas pressure and effectiveness of gun action operation.

Piston weight reduced on 11.1% (comparing with stock). It will effect on action operation with light loads. But same piston can be used for any type of load from light sporting to heavy magnum.

It recommended to those who:

1. have action operation issues with light loads (24 – 28 g).

2. want to use one piston with any cartridge.

3. want easier cleaning.

Grade of finish 0.8 Ra (comparing with 3 Ra of stock one).

Front cylinder added to increase operating area for propellant gases. Cylinder also collects powder debris.

Additional sloping cutout on piston side walls. Unique piston design. These cutouts are designed to spin piston during operation cycle. Such spinning will improve powder debris collection and provide gas seal between piston and gas tube walls. It prevents gases from penetration through the gap, therefore increasing gas pressure and effectiveness of gun action operation.

Piston weight reduced on 5.2% (comparing with stock). It will effect on action operation with light loads. But same piston can be used for any type of load from light sporting to heavy magnum.

1. have action operation issues with light loads (24 – 28 g).

2. want to use one piston with any cartridge.

3. want easier cleaning.

4. want maximal effectiveness of gas block self-cleaning (particularly true for large number of rounds per gun).
