Spring for Vepr 308 had high safety and flexibility margin and rarely replaced. Replacement can be performed at home. You have to field strip carbine, remove bolt, punch out retaining pin and remove extractor – then you will got access to the striker and spring. After spring replacement assemble unit in reversed order.
