410 gauge Boresight cartridge is designed for carbine zeroing using laser pointer. For a long time such product was not available but finally we manage to complete this project. I own 410 gauge carbine for a long time I was wondering why such a popular in Russia gauge was forgotten.
410 gauge Boresight cartridge is tested and calibrated with precise industrial equipment and also passed our internal checks. I believe every 410 gauge carbine owner should have boresight cartridge in his bag.
With this device you free to remove red-dot scope bracket because later when you will put your scope back it will take only 5 to 10 minutes to zero carbine. Also each 410 gauge carbine should have foresight guide because post sits quite solid and it is difficult to adjust its position without special tool. When buying a new Saiga 410 firstly you should check sights, on some guns foresight have to be moved far left to zero. After that you can zero your red-dot scope and then compare foresight with scope – that is all zeroing procedure.
Preparations for 410 gauge carbine zeroing:
- prepare zeroing kit (boresight cartridge, foresight guide)
- for easy take off the receiver and place boresight cartridge in the barrel bore, install foresight guide on post
- fix carbine in clamp or rig, put red laser dot over the target and calibrate sights by this dot.
