During airsoft match, at the hunt and especially in the combat every second count. Fastest will won. And great help will be properly adjusted and used the tactical sling.
Such accessories will ease carbine or rifle carry during long trips. Well, often long distances can be crossed by foot with the weapon. All, who tried such sling, mark that weapon handling became more convenient. Because you can carry it over the shoulder, in front or on back.
At the beginning weapon slings were just leather belts, then – heavy canvas, now modern polymers are used. Slings became lighter, more rigid and better looking.
Most simple type is single point sling, attached to the weapon at only one point and sliding over the loop.
It especially comfortable for the weapon less than one meter long. Usually, it attached to the small of the buttstock, also can be attached to the butt plate.
Comfortable sling needs to have additional accessories:
- quick drop system with fastex;
- elastic parts;
- fast length adjustment.
Single point tactical belt also has some disadvantages because of only one attachment point – weapon is very free and needs to be controlled during carrying. It is not very comfortable when running, bent, crouch or in prone position – muzzle can be clogged with dirt.
Same tricks can be used to avoid this:
- clip at the side of the belt;
- sling that can be attached to the front swivel;
- hard holster or metal hooks.
